Unexpected comfort

I rarely feel comfortable writing. Arguably Summing-Up should be the easiest—and is at times, simply because I’m doing it just to crank out the words, just to fulfill the writing constraint, the requirement. In being a chore, it becomes routine. There’s comfort in routine. Whereas when writing about a film or a comic (or a chapter of Maugham), there’s no routine because it’s different. Even if it’s a monotonous comic, it’s different because of the length of the monotony. There’s always a fresh angle, even if you have to reconfigure the viewport. But it’s also routine as an activity, which doesn’t provide comfort. So finding something able to make the routine as activity comfortable is interesting. It makes some sense, but it’s still unexpected.
