I have a whiteboard I take notes on. I also use it for my chore list. It’s desperately functional. But it also is this big object I can’t lose. Unless the cats sit on my notes and erase them, which has happened before, I don’t lose the notes. I don’t misplace them, I don’t forget about them. Written notes are different than typed ones. They shouldn’t be, but they are. At an early point, the idea needs to stay as far away from its destination as possible. Except it’s more about quarantining the destination than the idea.
