Starting in my teens, I became something of a cookie fanatic. Cake too, but it was harder to get on a regular basis; I could always whine to get my mom to bake some chocolate chip cookies. Though eventually she just bought me the Pillsbury tubes and I started making them myself. I’m sure I thought a lot of myself for being able to bake cookies. Oh, yeah—I’d crush them up and do milkshakes with them. So good. Anyway. My wife, back in the old days, baked me chocolate chip cookies with rolos in the center. Chocolate melts into the dough, releases caramel. Awesome. I then integrate rolos into the Pillsbury cookies from the tubes. Sorry; wife made some rolos Pillsbury cookies for a work cookie exchange and I can’t stop eating the leftovers.
