I’m a cynical person. I’ve gotten to be a lot less cynical over the last couple years, but I’m still cynical. A big pet peeve is watching people embrace media figures they should know better than to embrace. The enemy of my enemy stuff works really well on TV because it provides immediate conflict and drama. In real life it works out like Saudi Arabia. And not even recently, but for the British back in the day. Especially with media figures. Come on. Has the loss of analog clocks led the world to forget a broken clock is right twice a day. It’s discomforting at best, mostly embarrassing, and sometimes dangerous.
