Paste

One of the problems with late night posting is I get tired and go off on a tangent and can’t remember how to get back to the main point or why I was writing on the subject anyway. It happens every couple nights and it’s frustrating. Especially since I was going to talk about how important it is for vanilla flavored foods, particularly of the liquid or paste nature, to be refreshing as well as vanilla. Vanilla is like mint. It needs to be refreshing. At least in American dessert or dessert type foods. I’m sure there are Indian dishes where mint isn’t refreshing but is still delicious. And vanilla probably has some non-dessert uses. What about an “Iron Chef” mint battle? Does such a thing exist? I can dream.
