It's just not a cinematic film and it's not good enough for the calibre of actors like McAdams, Crowe and Mirren. All the acting is top notch, Crowe is great, Bateman is superb. I had an inkling when I saw the preview that Crowe had somehow taken it easy on himself with this kind of movie. It's just not him.
