I'm surprised you didn't talk about the performances of Michael Sheen and Oliver Platt (who always seems to be ignored critically despite his comedic abilities). I thought that their energy helped the film from dragging, which Howard's pacing did from time to time though this should be expected from a play adaptation.

Also, I too was amazed by the amount of surprise and suspense within the film, despite everyone knowing the end of the film. The Wolf Man/Dracula...I mean Frost/Nixon is a refreshing award season movie not belabored by epic pretentiousness.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('3240','Lyz Reblin','I\'m surprised you didn\'t talk about the performances of Michael Sheen and Oliver Platt (who always seems to be ignored critically despite his comedic abilities).
